Oven Toaster Heating Elements

Heating elements used in oven toasters fall into two functional groups.

The first group is installed at the top of the oven toaster for browning and grilling. After converting electrical energy into heat, these elements emit infrared radiation that penetrates the food and supports cooking from within.

The second group is installed in the lower section and is responsible for baking. It heats the surrounding air, which rises while cooler air moves downward, creating natural convection inside the chamber. These lower elements warm food gradually.
