Rice Cooker Heating Elements

The heating element is the most important component of an electric rice cooker.

A rice cooker depends on a correctly balanced element that produces and distributes heat evenly for reliable rice preparation in a short time. Rod-type elements—sometimes referred to as tubular elements—are particularly well suited to this application. Although coil elements are also used, experience shows that they tend to burn out sooner and lose performance more quickly.
